New Wine Ministry - Statement of Faith

by New Wine Team

At New Wine, our faith is rooted in the life, death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in the transformative power of the Gospel, the active presence of the Holy Spirit, and the unshakable authority of Scripture. Our mission is to awaken the remnant, equip the saints, and advance the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

We want to make this clear:

None of us involved in this ministry have attended seminary. Our understanding of God’s Word comes directly from His Spirit, His Word, and His refining work in our lives through trials, tribulations, and personal encounters with His presence. We are students of His voice, shaped not by religious institutions but by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the fires of real-life experience.

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and took note that these men had been with Jesus.” — Acts 4:13

1. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons:

• Father — The Creator of all things, sovereign over heaven and earth.

• Son — Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, the Savior of the world.

• Holy Spirit — The Comforter, Counselor, and Empowerer of the Church.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” — Deuteronomy 6:4

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19

2. The Authority of Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It reveals His character, His covenant with humanity, and His redemptive plan through Christ.

• Old and New Testaments are equally inspired, pointing to Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promises.

• The Word of God is alive and active, discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16

3. Jesus Christ: Savior, King, and Lord

We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and glorious ascension of Jesus Christ.

• He is the only mediator between God and humanity.

• He will return to judge the living and the dead, establishing His eternal Kingdom.

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6

For unto us a Child is born… and the government will be upon His shoulders.” — Isaiah 9:6

4. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not by works, but by grace.

• Through His blood, we are redeemed, justified, and reconciled to God.

• Believers are called to live in obedience, bearing fruit that reflects genuine transformation.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8-9

5. The Holy Spirit: Empowering the Church

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit for all believers, equipping them with power, gifts, and boldness to fulfill the Great Commission.

• The Spirit empowers us to walk in holiness, manifest spiritual gifts, and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit.

• We believe the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12) are active and essential for the Church today.

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses…” — Acts 1:8

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7

6. The Kingdom of God: Now and Not Yet

We believe in the advancing Kingdom of God, both present and future.

• Jesus inaugurated the Kingdom through His ministry, and believers are called to extend His ruleon earth.

• The fullness of the Kingdom will be realized at His second coming, when He will reign forever.

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.” — Isaiah 9:7

7. The Church: The Body of Christ

We believe the Church is the global community of believers, called to:

• Worship God in spirit and truth

• Equip the saints for ministry

• Advance the Gospel to all nations

• Disciple others in truth and love

The Church is not a building—it’s a living body united under Christ, the Head.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27

8. The Great Commission

We are committed to the Great Commission—making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded.

• We believe in bold evangelism, discipleship, and cultural transformation through the power of the Gospel.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19-20

9. The Return of Christ and the Eternal State

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, when He will:

• Judge the living and the dead

• Resurrect the righteous and the wicked

• Establish the new heavens and new earth

Believers will dwell with God forever, while those who reject Christ face eternal separation.

Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him…” — Revelation 1:7

10. The Remnant: Awake and Ready

We believe God is preserving a remnant—a people awakened to His truth, undistracted by cultural compromise, and passionately pursuing His presence.

• The remnant is marked by faithfulness, boldness, and an unwavering commitment to truth.

• We are watchmen on the walls, sounding the alarm and preparing the way for the Lord.

Even so, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.” — Romans 11:5“

• Our faith isn’t second-hand—it’s forged in the fire of real encounters with the Living God.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” — John 14:26

Final Word:

At New Wine, we are not just about beliefs—we’re about action.

• We don’t settle for comfortable Christianity.

• We live with urgency, purpose, and a Kingdom mindset.

• We’re here to awaken the Church, shake the nations, and prepare the way for the return of our King.

“No one pours new wine into old wineskins.” — Mark 2:22

This is the new wine. This is the remnant rising.
